Sharon Victoria Posey

Sharon Victoria Posey, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Monday, October 11, 2021, at the age of 60. She was born on August 24, 1961, in Independence, Louisiana, the youngest of five children of Albert D. Lindsey and Ounida Allemand. Although throughout her life she had several jobs, none gave her as much happiness as being a mother and grandmother. Sharon is loved very much and missed dearly.

Sharon is survived by her mother, Ounida  Allemand; two children with Milford “Randy” Posey Jr., Milford “Randy” Posey III and wife Tara, and Angela  Hebert and husband Adam; brothers, Donald Lindsey and wife Glenda and Daniel Lindsey and wife Debo; sister, Debra Lindsey; half-brothers, Alton Lindsey and Albert Lindsey and wife Lachelle; grandchildren, Victoria Bowman and husband Ben, Cannan Duplessis, Micheal Green, Cade Duplessis and wife Kori, Angelica Green, Emily Whalen, Samantha Posey and Matthew Whalen; great grandchildren, Addison Bowman, Scarlett Spriggs, Cleo Duplessis and Liam Spriggs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father A.D. Lindsey, sister, Rebecca Balfantz, and half-brother, Alex Lindsey.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday.

Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana.
