Sandra Louise Mansour was born February 25, 1944, in Hammond, to the late Alcide and Velma McCullen Mansour. She passed away in Covington, October 6, 2022.  Sandra was a resident of Hammond. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She attended Holy Ghost Catholic School and graduated from Hammond High School. Afterwards, she enrolled in Southeastern Louisiana University where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in education and was a member of the university's alumni association. She was a retired educator of thirty one years having taught at several schools including Holy Ghost Catholic Church School and Loranger Elementary School. She was the owner of Al's Steak House and Seafood. Sandra volunteered at North Oaks Hospital and spent countless hours caring for her family. A beloved member of the community, she enjoyed needlepoint, baking, cooking, dancing and spending time with family. She loved to beat everyone she played in pingpong. Sandra is survived by her husband of 59 years, Leon V. Latino, Sr.; children, Leon V. Latino, Jr. (Mary), and Melissa Latino Tumbleston (Donnie); sisters, Aleen Grieshaber (Jim), and Sheila DeMars (Dennis); grandchildren, Trey Latino, Gabrielle Tumbleston and Isabella Tumbleston, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her nephews, Eric Mansour Grieshaber and Bradley Alcide Stevens. Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Holy Ghost Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. celebrated by Father Charles Johnson.  Burial will follow in Rose Memorial Cemetery.
