Sam €œBuster” Cooper

Sam “Buster” Cooper was born August 15, 1979, in Hammond, LA and passed away September 18, 2021, athis residence in Independence, LA at the age of 42.  He worked in the construction industry andenjoyed cooking and entertaining for his family, loved his motorcycles, andenjoyed doing paint and body work.  Samis survived by his wife, Nancy H. Cooper, children; Christian Duncan, BrittanyDuncan, and Bruce Duncan, Jr.; parents, Margaret Gulotta LeBlanc and RobertDavid LeBlanc; brother, Matthew Caine Cooper; stepbrothers, Steven LeBlanc andJohn LeBlanc; grandchildren, Lil Terrell, Alasia, Mariah, Sammaya, Malia, and Bayleigh; god daughters, Destany, Alexis, Mattisyn, and Brinlee; and numerousnieces and nephews.  He is preceded indeath by his father, Gerald Cooper; maternal grandparents, Buster and MargaretIdee Gulotta; and paternal grandparents, Morris and Nathalea Cooper.  Visitation will be at Harry McKneely &Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Thursday, September23, 2021, from 12:00 pm until religious services at 2:00 pm in the funeral homechapel conducted by Rev. Randy Smith. Interment will follow in Colonial Cemetery, Independence.
