Sadye A. Curet peacefully passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 91, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Born on a Wednesday, July 20th of 1932, in Hammond, Louisiana, she was the only daughter of Sarah and Louis Alack. She held a sense of pride in her hometown and resided in Hammond her entire life.
Sadye is survived by her children, Mark Curet (Marianne), Keith Curet (Penny), and Donna Curet Moschitta; grandchildren, Katie Causey (Jared), Casey Curet (Alyssa), Calin Ardoin, Jourdan M. Curet, and Roman Moschitta; as well as her great-grandchildren, Brooks and Christian Causey and Leo Armand Curet.
Sadye loved nothing in the world more than her family and dedicated her life in service of them. She is loved by them more than words can say. Her love extended to her friends and her community, and her caring nature was intrinsic to her character. She was the first to offer help to her neighbors and she ensured that every child who crossed her threshold was safe, healthy, and happy. She will be missed, and celebrated, by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah and Louis Alack; her brother, Charles Alack, and her loving husband, Ronald A. Curet, with whom she built a beautiful life filled with love and joy. She joins him now for their eternal bliss.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401, Monday, March 11, 2024, from 9:00 am - 10:30am. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Ghost - 600 N. Oak St, Hammond, LA 70401, at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
