Ruth Pearl Lake

Ruth Pearl Lake, of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away at her home on Monday, March 9, 2020, at the age of 70. She was born on August 27, 1949, in Independence, Louisiana.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Steven Dupuy; mother, Ruth Lee; son, John T. Wilkerson (Fritzi Worn-Wilkerson); grandchildren, Lizzie and Charles Worn-Wilkerson; brother, Bud Thompson; sisters, Sonia Thompson Bowe (John) and Alicia Moreau (Bobby); and her ex-husband who remained a dear friend, Raymond Staudinger.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Roberts; 1st husband, Charles David Wilkerson; 2nd husband, Bau Lake; brothers, John and Eddie Roberts; and an infant daughter.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a funeral service at 7:00 pm.
