Ruth Harper Baham passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 in Hammond, Louisiana at the age of 93. Ruth was born on August 3, 1924 in Hammond, Louisiana to Leo and Bertha Harper and was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. She was a charter member of Loranger Baptist Church and currently a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Marie Trotter (John) and her son Curtis Baham, Jr. (Nancy); three grandchildren, Claude Harper, Jr., Karen Caves (Tommy), and Brandon Baham (Ashley); four great-grandchildren, Crystal Lato (Matt), John Harper (Kaity), Jessica McKneely (William), Jordan Caves (Shannon), and Olivia Braud; four great-great grandchildren, Paul and Silas Lato, Bryce Caves, and Lane Long; two sisters, Lillie Addison and Margie Addison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Baham, Sr.; parents, Leo and Bertha Harper; brother, Leo Harper, Jr.; and sisters, Melba Barker, and Helen Bankston.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
