Ruth Collier Buzzetta

Ruth Collier Buzzetta, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Monday, October 19, 2020, at the age of 82. She was born on Tuesday, August 30, 1938, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Ruth is survived by four children, Tandy Givens, Lisa and husband, Ritchie Neal, Terry and wife, Sandra Buzzetta, Brandon and wife, Patricia Buzzetta; grandchildren, Erica Hansen (Chris Hansen), Stacy Buzzetta, Hunter Stafford, Sean Buzzetta (Dr. Mary Buzzetta), Shannon Dauphin (Garet), Ryan Neal (Krista), Regan Navarre (Adam Navarre), and Alexis Buzzetta; great grandchildren, Collin Buzzetta (Emilie), Rowen, Briar and Brogan Dauphin, Chloe Richardson and Cade Buzzetta; great great grandchildren, Ayden and Kinsley Buzzetta.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Dominick Joseph "Buzz" Buzzetta; her parents, Walter Collier and Violet Coumes Collier; siblings, June Guagliardo, Beverly McCulloch and Edward Collier.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son - Hammond, on Thursday at 1:00 pm, with Fr. Cayet Mangiaracina officiating.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
