Russell Glenn Gatlin

Russell Glenn Gatlin, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away at Gonzales Health Care on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the age of 77. He was born on Saturday, February 5, 1949, in Independence, Louisiana.

Russell is survived by his children, Kailey Settoon, Dakota Settoon, Chance Relan, Brennen Eastridge, and Katelyn Rivers; sisters, Bonnie Quave and Linda Monistere, brother, Larry Gatlin; nieces and nephews, Angie Cavallier, Linda Corrinne Monistere, Susie Quave Duplessis, Michelle Sterken, Lashelle Lindsey, Charna Geoghagen, Larry "Bo" Quave, Jr., James Quave, Dwayne Minchew, Albert "Albie" Monistere, Jr.and Brian Joseph Monistere, also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Quinton and Celia Stewart Gatlin; nephew, Timmie Wayne "Sneezy" Gatlin and his brother Timmie Ray Gatlin

Friends and family are invited to Russell's visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Blvd., Hammond Louisiana, on Sunday March first, from 10:00a.m. until funeral services at 2:00p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow at in Gatlin Cemetery.
