Russell Thomas Bujol

Russell Thomas Bujol, born on October 16, 1956, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024, with his loving wife, Brenda at his side. Russell was known as a generous, kind-hearted, gentle soul with a laid-back sense of humor. He was an avid sports fan, and he loved watching his grandkids in their various sporting activities. He especially loved his family, wholeheartedly. Russell was dedicated in the oil and gas industry for over 40 years where he developed many lifelong friendships along the way. He enjoyed, through his work, entertaining customers and supporting various charity events for people in need.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years (together over 50 years), Brenda Rodrigue Bujol; children, Paul (Micah), Kristina Cady (Brian); grandchildren, Hunter, Mary; sibling, Evelyn (Don); father and mother-in-law, Arthur “Sonny” Rodrigue and Edith “Ebie” Thibodaux Rodrigue, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Clifton Bujol and Lovell Cecile LeBlanc Bujol, and siblings, Jeannette, Ernestine, Linden.

Visitation will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Hammond, on Wednesday January 31, 2024, beginning at 9:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am, directly followed by entombment in the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church mausoleum.
