Russell A. Deroche, Sr.

Russell Adam Deroche Sr. passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 68.  He was born on Monday, October 4, 1948, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Zenobia Deroche and the late Gilbert Deroche.  He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Russell is survived by his wife, Brenda Lewis Deroche; sons, Russell A. Deroche, Jr. and wife Shannon, and Paul Deroche; stepchildren, Robert P.  Buras, Jr., and Theresa B.Ticker and husband Andy; grandchildren, Shaylynn Deroche, Lora-Lee Sullivan-Deroche, Hunter Sullivan, Lexi Strong, Amanda Buras, Katie Hammons and husband Bubba, Riley Buras, Holly Stroebel, and Andy Ticker, Jr.; great-grandchild, Aubree Hammons; sisters, Lilly Mae Lopez, and Beulah Assavedo; brothers, Every Deroche, Roland Deroche, and Edward Deroche; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5:00 pm until the Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 pm.
