Ruby K. Nicolosi

Ruby Katherine Nicolosi  passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017,  at the age of 89.  She was born on Sunday, July 1, 1928 in Liberty, Mississippi to the late Lillie Jackson Kirkland and the late Pat Kirkland.  She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Carolyn  Stewart; son, Joseph K. Nicolosi, Jr. and his wife Beth; sisters, Evonne Howell, Lucy Williams, Ann Coates, and Ruth Rushing; grandchildren, Jennifer Lamonte and her husband John, Craig Nicolosi and his wife Jaime, Joey Tilley, Ryan Nicolosi and his wife Kathy, Justin Tilley, and Jeffrey Tilley; great-grandchildren, Jessica Stewart, Lexus Nicolosi, Jordan Milton, Maddison Nicolosi, Ryliegh Nicolosi, Lindsey Nicolosi, and Logan Nicolosi; and great-great grandchild , Aubrey Elayna Fischer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pat Kirkland, Lillie Jackson Kirkland, and Cleon Kirkland; husband, Joseph  Nicolosi, Sr.; three sisters, Venica Lee Lamonte, Margaret Carpenter, and Effie Kirkland; and brothers, Harold, Otis, and Albert Kirkland.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Cemetery.
