Roy "Pan" Edward Hoover

Roy "Pan" Edward Hoover passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 76. He was born on Thursday, July 21, 1949 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Beatrice Morse Hoover and the late James Hoover II. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Roy is survived by his significant other, Donna Majesty; his second family, which included Perrins and Majestys; and his best friend, David Smith.

In addition to his parents, Roy is preceded in death by his brother, James Hoover, III.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Monday, January 12, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Hoover Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
