Rose Laverne Pierre Lanier

Rose Laverne Pierre Lanier, of Folsom, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the age of 61. She was born on September 21, 1961, in Independence, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Lindsey and Lois Pierre.

Laverne is survived by her son, Johnathan Lanier and his wife Kristian, granddaughters, Makayla and Haley Lanier, brother, Dennis Pierre, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Laverne was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Pierre.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Entombment will follow at Pierre Family Cemetery in Folsom, Louisiana.
