Rosalind "Roz" Kincannon

Rosalind “Roz” Kincannon passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 65.  She was born on Tuesday, September 27, 1955 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Alma Cali and Sam Cali.  She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.  She loved caring for people, animals and gardening. She had a heart of gold, never met a stranger and made the world a better place. She was always thoughtful, outgoing and kind. She was the best wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend a person could ever ask for.

Roz is survived by her husband, James Locke Kincannon; son, Phillip Kincannon (Bridget); brother, Sam G Cali (Angela Rooney); and nieces, Sydney Cali and Victoria Rooney Wilson (Eli).

She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Cali; mother, Alma Magliolo Cali; grandparents, Phillip and Josie Magliolo; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, February 12, 2021, beginning at 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM. A mass will follow at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 11:00 am.  

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
