Ronald "Ronnie" Richardson, Sr.

Ronald “Ronnie” Russell Richardson, Sr. went to his heavenly home on May 17, 2020 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 70 years old. He was born on March 22, 1950. He was a resident of Holden, Louisiana.

Ronnie was a retired Car dealer and previously owned Triple R and Ron’s Auto Sale. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, going to the casino, and working on cars and tractors.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Vickie Edwards Richardson; his children, Belinda Richardson (Ricky Albin), Ronald “Rusty” Richardson, Jr. (Becky), Lester Easley, Jr., Celeste Kemp (Joseph), Amanda Sykes Johnson (David), and Murlin Richardson (Tessa); his grandchildren, Farrand Manuel, Sean Higginbotham, Courtney Viers, Ethan Kemp, Leanne Garcia, Jeffrey, Sebastian, and Alyssa Sykes, Victoria, Damien, Madeline, Traveler, and Gunner Richardson, Chyna Easley, and Corey Knight; his great-grandchildren, Arianna and Brees Manuel, Cassia Garcia, Scarlett and Grayer Duplessis, and Colton and Kenner Knight; his brothers, Isaac “Ike,” Edmund, John Paul, and Philip Kemp Richardson; his sisters, Jennie Pearson, Eva Gayle Lott, Virginia Ann “V” Bourn, Luella “Lu” Resetar, and Jessie Roberts; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Fabian Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Dora Albirdie “Birdie” Richardson; brothers, Ralph Murphy, Carl Bray, and Phillip Maxwell; and sister, Gladys Irene Richardson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Ronnie on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 North Morrision Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, from at 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The visitation will continue on Friday, May 22, 2020, beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 12:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Richardson Family Cemetery in Holden, Louisiana.
