Ronald Latino, 61, of Lake Charles, LA passed away at home at his daughter’s residence in Mesa, Arizona on December 9, 2018.

Ronald Joseph Latino was born on December 5, 1957 in New Orleans, Louisiana. “Ronnie” grew up in Hammond, LA and was a loved member of the community for many years. He graduated from Hammond High where he was a drummer in the band. He was a music enthusiast and a fan of all genres. Ron also enjoyed playing golf, fishing and watching Saints football. He spent many years coaching little league baseball and was passionate about teaching youth to play a sport he loved. Later in life he moved to Lake Charles, LA where he successfully ran his business in the amusement industry.

Due greatly to the generosity and support from family and friends, Ronnie was able to fulfill his wishes and spend his final months with his only daughter and her family in Mesa, Arizona. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother, as well as a friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He loved his friends and they loved him. He left the pain and suffering that cancer was causing him the morning of his passing. He will be forever missed.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Jake Joseph Latino, Sr. and Helen Evans Latino, his sister Rosemary Latino Carter and brother Bobby Latino.

He is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Carole Latino, granddaughters, Mia Kate Himel and Londyn Claire Himel, and his brother, Jake Joseph Latino Jr.

Family and friends will be received at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial  will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, on Saturday,  at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at  in Greenlawn Cemetery
