Ronald Oscar Brewer
June 1, 1950 â December 20, 2021
It is with our hearts so incredibly heavy we announce that Ronald, 71, went to his heavenly home on Monday, December 20, 2021. Ronald was a lifelong resident of Natalbany, La. He worked as an electrician, a profession he loved which allowed him to always provide for his family which he took great pride in. Ronald was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing, and as the years went by he found himself content sitting on his front porch in his rocking chair listening to the sounds of nature with his beloved wife beside him. His family consumed so much of his beautiful heart, he excelled as a husband, father, and a paw paw. He always led by example, was slow to anger and quick to forgive, and never too busy to make time for those he loved. He also treasured his title of Deacon at the Woodhaven Baptist Church, where he found his salvation and gave his life over to the Lord.
Ronald is survived by the love of his life, his beloved wife of 50 years, Dianne Nichols Brewer; daughter, Tracie McCrory and husband Huey; son, Chad Brewer; his one and only granddaughter, the apple of his eye, Kylie Nichole Brewer and fiancé Christian Whann; two beloved grandsons, Kade and Kasen McCrory; brother, Roland Brewer and wife Karen, which were such a blessing of help each and every time we were in need; sister, Brenda Overland and husband Derek; brother-in-law, Cleveland Nichols; brothers in Christ, Glenn, Ray, Frankie and Holland; and all his other brothers and sisters in Christ at Woodhaven Baptist Church that have given an endless amount of love, comfort, support and prayer for us all. He leaves behind his fur babies, Lolli, Daisy and Dixie; as well as countless nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and loved ones.
Preceding Ronald in death were his parents, Roland and Olivia Brewer; in-laws, Jack and Dixie Nichols; sisters-in-laws, Stella Nichols and Dorothy Nichols; infant son, Ronald Oscar Brewer Jr; brother, David Brewer; nephew, Pryce Shane Overland; fur baby, Rousey.
A special thank you to the entire staff at Modern Hospice for going above and beyond for not only our Patriarch of our family, but for us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Woodhaven Baptist Church, Tickfaw, on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Ray Werline, which we feel blessed to call family, will officiate the services with interment to follow in Woodhaven Baptist Church Cemetery.
