Ronald Raymond Mangipano, Jr.

Ronald Raymond Mangipano Jr. passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the age of 72. He was born on Monday, July 21, 1952, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana. 

Ronald was a longtime resident of New Orleans, and served in the Naval Air Reserve as a jet mechanic. He worked for NOPSI, RTA, for forty years, finishing his career as a supervisor in the streetcar division. He had a love for cars and could fix anything put in front of him, but his true passion was renovating/building houses. He was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to always lend a hand to those in need. He was a loving husband and father. Most of all, he was a great role model to his family, and his legacy will continue through them, as they carry forward the wisdom he shared. He will be dearly missed. 

Ronald is survived by his wife, Angelina Nicolosi Mangipano; son, Ronald Mangipano III (Jennifer), son, Henry Chaisson III (Angelle), son, Kevin Chaisson (Tina); sister's, Susan and Toni Mangipano; grandchildren, Kevin Jr.,(Hayley) , Henry IV, Amber (Remi), Devin, and Roman; great-grandchildren, Kevin III, and Karsen; 3 nieces and 4 nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Raymond Mangipano Sr. and Lottie Weidt Mangipano. 

The visitation will be held at Harry Mckneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000, North Morrison Blvd. Hammond Louisiana, 70401 on Saturday March 22, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
