Ronald Mark Evans, Jr.

Ronald Mark Evans, Jr. was born on March 7, 1947, in Amite, Louisiana and was a longtime resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the age of 78. Ronnie was a member of River Fellowship Baptist Church and a retired auto appraiser.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bobbie Jean Faller Evans; his children, Summer Anne Harvey, Stephanie Lynne Evans, Russell Emile Evans (Lorretta), and Scarlett Rebecca Madison; seven grandchildren; and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Mark Evans, Sr. and Vera Varnado Evans, and his sister, Sylvia.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm, with Bro. Randy Ray officiating.

Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Hammond, Louisiana.

Pallbearers will be Trey Fanning, Chad Tycer, Charlie Strong, John Fresina, Donald Roubique, and Roger Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Lofton Evans and Evan Strong.
