Ronald Lee Dionese was born on June 2, 1943 in Pueblo Colorado. He passed away peacefully in his home with his loving family by his side on Wednesday November 4, 2026 at 83 years old. He is now reunited with his wife Garnet Lee Dionese just 2 days after their 63rd anniversary. He is preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Edna Dionese, sister JoAnne Dionese, son Ronnie Lee Dionese Jr and daughter Ronda Lee Dionese. He is survived by his daughter and son in law Tela and Kody Hayward, brother and sister in law Bob and Joy Dionese, sister Patricia Sloan, brother and sister in law Gary and Linda Dionese, brother and sister in law Lary and Cheryl Dionese along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ron graduated from South high school in Pueblo Colorado and moved to Denver in the early 1960s where he worked at Coors Brewery. He retired after 37 years there and in 2003 he, his wife Garnet and daughter Tela moved to Robert Louisiana. Ron lived in a close knit neighborhood surrounded by friends whom he considered to be family who will cherish 23 years of memories and moments that will never be forgotten. Ron was known for being the neighborhood handy man who could fix anything. He loved his dogs and enjoyed passing his knowledge and skills on to anyone willing to learn. Though our hearts are heavy, we are so thankful for the years we had with him and the memories that will remain with us forever. No words can truly express how much he will be missed but the love he gave and the life he lived will never be forgotten.
The family will hold a private service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Homes.
