Robert Wayne "Bob" "Doc" Goodwin

Robert Wayne "Bob" "Doc" Goodwin, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Monday, February 27, 2023, at the age of 78. He was born on Friday, April 14, 1944, in Borger, Texas.

He retired as an  Athletic Trainer for Southeastern Louisiana University.

Doc is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Russell and Kelly Bittola; sister, Jenafay Foster; grandchildren, Brett  Bittola (Kailey), Amanda  Knight (Benjamin), Kelsey Bittola, Lauren Bittola (Fiance Johnny Gill); great-grandson, Beau Robert Knight; nephews, Derek (Allison), Robert (Carmen), Jonathan (Becky) and Daniel (Brandy) Foster.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra "Sandy" Webb Goodwin; parents, Lt. Col. Thomas H. and Virginia Watson Goodwin.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond  on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
