Robert V. Hackney

Robert Victor Hackney, of Holden, Louisiana, passed away at  his home on Friday, December 24, 2021, at the age of 56. He was born on August 7, 1965, in Madison, Indiana. Bob was the owner of Standard & Magna Electric. He specialized in rewinding motors and HVAC work in Hammond, Louisiana. Bob was a loving person with a heart of gold he enjoyed working and helping everyone. He was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church. His hobbies were, diving, camping, traveling, going to Disney World, spending time with family and bonfires. Bob was also a musician and singer and enjoyed playing his bass and singing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Victoria Hackney, and his loving aunts and uncles.

He  is survived by his brothers, Jesse Hackney and Joseph Hackney and his wife Sandra; two nephews and one niece, Gabriel Hackney, Samuel Hackney, and Annie Hackney.

Family and friends will be received at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 14602 Jericho Rd., Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at the church on Tuesday at 7:00 pm.

A Graveside will take place on Wednesday, December 29th at 11:00 am at Gatlin Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
