Robert Earl Sykes, Jr.

Robert Earl Sykes, Jr. passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, in Manchac, Louisiana, at the age of 36.  He was born on November 30, 1986 in Hammond, Louisiana to Shannon Sykes Nickens and the late Robert Earl Sykes, Sr.

Robert, you are surrounded by all the people that you have longed for.  Each and every one of them called you home.  What a glorious reunion.  You will never again be sad, scared, lonely, sick, or hurt again.  You are free from suffering.  We love you.

Robert is survived by his children, Landon Sykes and Brock Sykes; his mother, Shannon Nickens (Jeff); siblings, Tiffany Fambro (Tristan), and Mason Fambro (Bailey); his niece, Brynleigh Sykes; and his beloved dog, Izzy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Sykes, Sr.; paternal grandparents, EL and Marie Lois Sykes; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Gaubert Stewart; and his brother, Brandon Joseph Sykes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Sykes Family Cemetery, 30460 Edna Kinchen Road, Holden, Louisiana 70744, on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
