Robert Gibson Badon Jr.

Robert Gibson Badon Jr. gave up his earthly fight to go to his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 31, 2020, at the age of 68. He was born on Tuesday, September 25, 1951, in Independence, Louisiana. Robert was a native of Pumpkin Center and a resident of Denham Springs. He was a hard worker all his life. Robert was also an avid hunter and loved to fish.

Robert is survived by his wife, Cindy Badon; mother, Evelyn "Sweetie" Badon; children, Shane Badon, Laney Bennett and his wife Tricia, Angie Hector and her husband Chris, and Sarah Creel; sister, Diane Adams and her husband Scotty; brother, David Badon and his wife Liz; brother, Chet Badon; brother, Jason Badon and his wife Donna; numerous grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including a life long friend, Don Edleston.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert G. "Dempsey" Badon; and many friends.

Visitation for Family and Friends will be on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 2:00 pm, at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401.

Interment will be in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery, Pumpkin Center, Louisiana.

Face masks are now mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home. Thank you for your cooperation.
