Robert Edward Durham, Jr.

Robert Edward Durham, Jr., of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born on August 23, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late Robert E. Durham, Sr. and Imogene Durham. Robert was a proud Mason for 50 years and a current member of the Hammond Masonic Lodge. He also retired after 35 years as a supervisor and chemist with DuPont.

Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara Bryant Durham; children, Todd Durham (Jamie), Travis Durham, and Michelle Fulkerson (Bobby); grandchildren, Luccas Ray Durham, Andrew Durham (Rachel), Austin Durham, Allisa Fulkerson, Carter Durham, and Makenna Fulkerson; brother, Richard Durham (Linda); sister, Leslie Kay Cravens (Don); aunt, Betty Linne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son, Curtis Ray Durham.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. 

A Masonic Ceremony will begin on Tuesday at 2:00 pm, immediately followed by a Funeral Service.
