Robert "Bobby" Busby

Robert "Bobby" Busby, 82 years old of Independence, Louisiana, passed away  Thursday, March 29, 2018, in Albany, Louisiana surrounded by family and friends.

He was born on Saturday, February 22, 1936, in Independence, son of the late John William Busby and the late Molly Lee Busby.

Surviving are his daughters & sons-in-law, Ramona and John Lachney, Tammy and Chuck McCoy, grandchildren, Heather, Tres, and Brandy, great-grandchildren, Luke, Joey, Charlie, Steven, Kaitlyn, and Bently, his cousins, Bea, Otto, Robert, Brandie, Cody, Doug, Clausel, Ronald, Bonnie and Betty; and special friend, Kat.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Laura Busby, son, Wayne Smith, and granddaughter, Nicole Collins.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018, at 11:00 am, at the Ford Cemetery in Independence with interment to follow.
