Robert "Bob" Salvador Miano, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born on Friday, August 2, 1946, in Louisiana, the son of the late Salvador "Sam" Miano Jr. and the late Dolores St. Pierre James.
Bob was a veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a successful business owner and pharmacist who proudly owned Bob’s Pharmacy in Hammond and Ponchatoula Pharmacy. When he wasn’t caring for his customers or spending time with his family, Bob could often be found cheering on his favorite sports teams. A true sports enthusiast, he enjoyed all sports, but baseball held a special place in his heart. He was a devoted New York Yankees fan and loved following the team he supported throughout the years.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Melanie LeBoeuf and her husband, AJ; stepdaughter, Kim Navarra and her husband, Roy; and brother-in-law, Edwin Troxler, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 56 years, Beverly Compton Miano, and sister, Frances Miano Troxler.
Services were held privately by the family.
