Richard John Anzalone

Richard John Anzalone, of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Friday, May 21, 2021, at the age of 81. He was born on Tuesday, January 23, 1940, in Independence, Louisiana, the son of the late Louis Anzalone and the late Elizabeth Palermo.

Richard retired from the Louisiana Department of Health as a health inspector, he then worked at Southeastern Louisiana University for fifteen years

Richard is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Anzalone; grandson, Ethan Ridgell; brother, Louis Anzalone; former wife, Judy Bankston.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Guy Anzalone, Anthony "Bootsie" Anzalone, Frances Anzalone Danna, and Joseph Anzalone.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 11:00 am until the funeral service begins at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
