Richard A. Decker

Richard A. Decker passed awayon Thursday, September 8, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 77. He wasborn November 30, 1944, in Morgantown, West Virginia to the late Ruby and thelate Charles Decker. Richard served in the US Navy and was an upholsterer bytrade and also a woodworker.
He was a born again Christian and was looking forward to seeing Jesus and theglories of heaven.

Richard is survived by his wife, Carolyn Decker, his children, Carol (Bunny)Addison (Wayne), Richard (Bo) Decker (Amanda), Cathey Decker, Sunday O'Brien(Michael), Randee Clark (Jonathan).
Also his beloved grandchildren, C.J., Ruby and Jacob Addison, Eliot, Silas,Evan and Orion Decker, Caitlyn, Morgan and Jamie Foley, Phoenix and SamanthaO'Brien, Bethany, Daniel and Levi Clark. His siblings Jerry Decker, BarbaraBittinger, Roger Decker, Ralph and Robert Decker as well as numerous otherbrothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Also, his very close friends Ron andShirley Ford, Lynn James and Carol Peters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Charles Decker, one son,Robert Frankhouser; as well as grandparents Essie Pearl and James Shaw.

As per his request there will be no service.
