Rhonda Houk Knipe

Rhonda Lynn Houk Knipe, age 60, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at her Ponchatoula residence.  She was known for her feisty, fun and outgoing demeanor, who enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  Rhonda was a fire bug at heart and loved to burn anything she could get her hands on.  She enjoyed watching the butterflies and hummingbirds while she tended to hers and other peoples plants.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend who is already missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind her daughter, Heather Knipe-Blanchard (Josh); grandchildren, Troy and David; siblings, Valerie Baham and Jeffrey Houk; nephews and nieces, Jamie Houk, Jessica Baham, Jena Baham and Brandon Houk; as well as her best friend, Ronnie Pinner.

Preceding her in death is her son, Troy Knipe; parents, Kenneth and Gloria Houk; and her brother, Lonny Ray Houk.

Family and friends are invited to attend her graveside service at Cooper Cemetery on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
