Remy Dean Kinchen, of Albany, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at North Oaks Medical Center at the age of 57. He was born on May 8, 1962, in Kenner, Louisiana. Remy grew up loving rodeo, participating in competitions, and even placing 3rd in the world for calf roping during his high schools years. After he no longer competed, Remy continued to be a familiar face around the rodeo circuit as he always enjoyed watching competitions and supporting his many friends. He will be dearly missed.
Remy is survived by his wife, Debbie Kinchen; daughters, Tara Kinchen, Bridgette Kinchen Bishop, and Dixi Kinchen; step-son, Lance Vinson; grandchildren, Marlee, Zoe, Bodhi. Chaney, Gage, and Trent; sister, Tiny Leon; mother, Tootsie Kinchen; father, Henry Kinchen; "Uncle" Shorty Rogers; as well as numerous nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Loody Kinchen.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Natalbany Baptist Church, 48024 Parsonage Rd. Natalbany, Louisiana 70451, on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 11:00 am at Natalbany Baptist Church.
