Reagan Scott €œScotty” Floyd

Reagan Scott “Scotty” Floyd, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the age of 68.  He was born on December 5, 1952 in Canton, Georgia, son of the late Cytha Parker Christianson and William Reagan Floyd.  Scotty was raised in Baton Rouge and was a graduate of Istrouma High School.  Scotty enjoyed a lifelong career as a very talented and accomplished woodworker.  He retired from Inessa Stewart’s Antiques and Interiors in 2016.

Scotty is survived by his daughter, Angela “Angel” Renee Floyd Smith and husband Wade Emile Smith, Sr. of Hammond; sons William Reagan Floyd, II and Parker Reagan Floyd, of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Gabrielle Elizabeth Smith Hinshaw and husband Richard Bradley Hinshaw, Wade Emile Smith, Jr. and fiancé Brighton Madysen Boudreaux, of Hammond; and Blaine Reagan Floyd of Baton Rouge; great-grandchildren, Ezra Gray Hinshaw and Wade Emile Smith, III, of Hammond; sister, Kathy Kelleher Matherne and husband Darren Matherne, of Denham Springs; brother Loran Conrad and wife Melissa Conrad, of Baton Rouge; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Batman.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Reagan Floyd and Cytha Parker Christianson; grandparents, Jesse and Maebelle Floyd and Loran and Minnie Parker; and his beloved canine “son” Mason.
