Raymond Joseph Barrios

Raymond (PIP) Joseph Barrios of Independence, La. gained his Angel Wings on December 24, 2021, one day before his 86th Birthday. He was born on December 25, 1935 Harvey, La. Raymond was a member of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church and served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frances Button Barrios and sister Carolyn Breaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary LoCoco and Harris J. Barrios Sr.; daughter, Lisa Maria Barrios; sister, Florence Barrios Triska; 2 brothers, Harris J. Barrios Jr. and James S. Barrios Sr.

Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, La. 70401. A Funeral Mass will be held  at 12:00 pm at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 620 Third Street, Independence, La. 70443, immediately after the visitation.

Interment will follow at Colonial Cemetery Mausoleum in Independence, Louisiana.
