Raymond Bernard Braun

Mr. Raymond Bernard Braun, 79 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at his residence.

He was born on Sunday, July 9, 1939, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Surviving are wife of 49 and a half years, Angel Silver Braun, daughter & son-in-law, Lari B. and James Sasser, son, Lonnie Louis Braun, grandchildren, Victoria, Alexis, and Angel Sasser, and Jamie Braun, great-grandchildren, David and Liam Anderson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Odis Braun; mother and step-father, Elsie Becnel Braun Everritt and F. O. "Sonny" Everritt, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula with a rosary led by the Knights of Columbus at 10:00 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at St Joseph Catholic Church beginning at 11:30 am, with Fr. Cayet Mangiaracina, O.P. officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
