Ray Wilton Sibley

Ray Wilton Sibley, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the age of 85. He was born on Saturday, January 11, 1941, in Clio, Louisiana. He was a retired Supervisor for Shell Chemical in Geismar, Louisiana. He was a man of few words, but the endless love he had for his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren told his family everything they needed to know.

Ray is survived by his wife of 52 years, Deborah "Debi" Breazeale Sibley; daughters, Erika Whatley (Jason) and Janet Sibley (Dean Stansbury); sons, Kenneth Sibley (Barbara) and Rodney Sibley (Lillian); also survived by Denise Ryan (Kenny) and by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Ray Sibley; parents, Guy Sampson Sibley and Marion Eva Meissner; brothers, Valmond Joseph Sibley (Laura) and Jack Carter Sibley (Debbie).
