Rachel Elizabeth Goodwin

Rachel Elizabeth Goodwin passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019, in Hammond, Louisiana at the age of 65. She was born on July 25, 1953 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Leona Stevens and the late Harold Goodwin. She was a resident of Holden, Louisiana. Rachel was a member of the Albany Fire Department for over 30 years and served as Chief for 17 years.

Rachel is survived by her partner, Katherine "Kat" Crayton; sister, Norma "Jeannie" Jeanette Goodwin Campbell; nephews, John Campbell and David John Campbell; and niece, Veronica Campbell Vercher.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Goodwin; mother, Leona Stevens; and great niece, Sabrina Campbell-Vercher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at Bankston Cemetery 4th Ward, 33785 Highway 43, Independence, Louisiana 70443, on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 11:00 am.
