Racheal Elizabeth Purvis

Racheal Elizabeth Purvis, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the age of 67. She was born on Tuesday, January 22, 1957, in Amite, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Roy and Lillie Walker.

Racheal is survived by her sons, Ray Kimble and his wife, Ann and Jason Kimble and his wife, Summer, brother, Roger P. Walker and his wife, Faith, sister, Joanne Reid and her husband, Eddie, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Racheal was preceded in death by her husband, Carter Norwood Purvis Jr., son, Eric Chad Purvis, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday at 11:00 am, with James Reid officiating.

Interment will follow at Natalbany Cemetery in Independence, Louisiana.
