Prentiss Landon, Jr.

Prentiss Landon, Jr. passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018, in Denham Springs, Louisiana at the age of 82.  He was born on Wednesday, July 10, 1935 in Melville, Louisiana. He was a resident of Albany, Louisiana.

Prentiss is survived by his children, Randy Landon (Diane), Kathy Beard, Cheryl Beyl (Randy), and Terry Landon.  He is also survived by his brother Leroy Landon and his wife Ann; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Richard Craig; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lavenia Honea Landon; siblings, Irene Craig, and Delores Pickering; great-grandchild, Emery Landon; father, Prentiss Landon, Sr.; and mother, Mildred Miller Landon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Amite Baptist Church, 7100 Amite Church Rd., Denham Springs, Louisiana 70726, on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 2:00 pm until the Funeral Service officiated by Randy Ray at 4:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Amite Baptist Church Cemetery.
