Philip James "P.J." Clause

Philip James "P.J." Clause, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family in Ponchatoula, Louisiana on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at the age of 70. He was born on Wednesday, December 27, 1950, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

P.J. was a loving Husband, Dad and PawPaw who loved his family very much. He shared many fun times with his family and friends and gave them a lifetime of memories. He never met a stranger and made everyone feel like a part of his family. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Philip is survived by his wife, Donna Clause and fur baby Percy James; daughters, Shannon Schurr (Leo), Jaclyn Clause (Kyle) and Kristine Bidwell (Rome); grandchildren, Leo IV, Gabe, Stephanie, Alyssa, Mikayla, Zachary, and Ariana; brother, Wilbert Clause Jr.; sister, Constance Constantine (Russell); father-in-law, Donald Liebert (Anna); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gary Liebert (Beth), Ronnie Liebert (Susan), Bonnie Vining (Ron), John Liebert, and Kathryn Guillot (Chuck); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert and Anna May Clause; sister, Phyllis Constantine; sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Fred Clark; sister-in-law, Carol Clause; and mother-in-law, Hedy Liebert.

A Funeral Mass for Family and Friends will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 255 North 8th Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Rosaryville Mausoleum in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
