Patricia Wittie Bauers

On Sunday, July 28, 2019, Patricia Wittie Bauers went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 90.  She was born on November 26, 1928 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Hilda Robertson and the late Clarence Wittie.  She was a resident of Hammond

As a reflection of aspects of her life worthy of celebration, Patricia lived life to the fullest; serving the Lord through her church, First Christian Church, and her community.  In addition to being a mother, grandmother, sister, and wife, Pat was a local business woman and a mentor and role model to many.  She was the owner and operator of Yum Yum Drive Inn and Ken and Pat's Pic-a-nic Restaurant. She will be sadly missed.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Julie Mercante (Andrew), and Kristie Serio (Dennis); sons, Gary Bauers (Annette), Rodney Bauers (Diane), Lowell Bauers (Kim), and Michael Bauers (Ginger); sister, Marie Stanga (Vernon); brother, Curtis Wittie (Barbara); granddaughters, Amber, Lindsey, Ashley, Sherry, Neley, Jenni, Jesse, Stephanie, and Haley; grandsons, Britt, Matt, Morris, Jeremiah, Scott, Chad, Shane, Logan, Grayson, Nathan, and Chance; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is also preceded in death by her first husband, Morris Bauers; her second husband, Charles Kenneth Bauers; her sisters, Roseanne and Sylvia Wittie; and her grandson, Tyler.

A memorial of Patricia's life will be celebrated on Sunday, August 11, at First Christian Church. The service begins at 1:30 PM in the chapel.
