Patricia Summers

Patricia (Elder) Summers, a long-time resident of Hammond, Louisiana sadly passed away at the age of 83 on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. She was born on Sunday, February 5, 1939, in Clewiston, Florida to the late Johnnie Helton Elder and the late Joseph Elder Sr.

Patricia is survived by her cherished children, Max Summers, Jr. and his wife Angela. of Buckeye, AZ, and Kelly (Summers) Huizar and her husband Troy of Hammond, LA; along with her four beloved grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max, of 56 years; parents, Johnnie Helton Elder and Joseph Elder, Sr.; as well as her brother, Joseph (Joe) Elder in FL.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
