Patricia Ray Donaldson

Patricia Ray Donaldson (Patsy) passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 83. She was born on Thursday, May 6, 1943, in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Ray and Helen Fuller. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Patsy graduated from Fair Park High School in Shreveport, La. She started her college education at Northeastern Louisiana University in Monroe studying Vocal Music Education, and continued at Ayers Business School in Shreveport. She worked at Graphic Packaging, Intl. from 1976 - 2008 in West Monroe, La, and finally retired after working another 15 years at the corporate office in Atlanta, Ga, in human resources administering retirement plans. While working in Atlanta, she earned her BA degree at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.

Patricia was active in her church, singing as an alto in the choir and solos in worship services at Ingleside Baptist Church in Shreveport, and playing the organ and piano, as well as leading the children's choir at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church in West Monroe, La. She loved watching sports and attending Atlanta Braves games; her favorite player was John Smoltz.

Patsy is survived by her sons, Stacy Donaldson (Brandy) and Christopher Scott Donaldson (Patricia); and grandchildren, Paige (Camron) and Creed Donaldson.
