Patricia Anna Terrio Lobue, 88, of Hammond, LA, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2021 at the Richard Murphy Hospice House in Hammond. Â Patricia was born on March 17, 1933 in New Sarpy, LA to Cecile Landeche Terrio (1901-1980) and Philip Edward Terrio (1898-1989). Â She graduated in 1951 from Southeastern High School. Â After graduation, she attended Southeastern Louisiana College (SLC) until she married her favorite dance partner, Angelo Lobue on April 26, l953. Â She worked various secretarial jobs while Angelo was attending Loyola University Pharmacy School and LSU Medical School. Â In 1960, Patricia moved to Schweinfurt, Germany where her husband Angelo served as a doctor in the United States Army. Â They did a great deal of traveling in Europe for 2 years and returned to New Orleans, LA in 1962. Â They made their permanent home in Hammond, LA beginning in 1964.
Patricia loved to go to the beach. Â She loved attending memorable family events. Â More recently, she enjoyed reading, working puzzles, playing ping-pong, watching old movies, and watching/singing along with Neil Diamond and Garth Brooks.
Patricia was a devout Catholic. She was very involved in her faith community at St. Albertâs Catholic Church, where she enjoyed attending Mass and worshiping with many friends and fellow parishioners. Â Through all of her trials and tribulations, she always found peace in God and Mother Mary. Â She faithfully said her prayers and rosary.
Patricia is preceded in death by her mother, Cecile Terrio, father, Philip Terrio, son, baby John Anthony Lobue (born & died Feb. 13, 1959), mother-in-law Caroline Domin Lobue, father-in-law Kelly Lobue, Sr., sister, Audrey Terrio Childress, brother-in-law, Ray Kulbe, sister-in-law, Pauline Lobue Arratibel, brother-in-law, Anastasio Arratibel, and nephew, Jody Wade.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Dr. Angelo Kelly Lobue; children â Kelly Lobue, Linda Lobue Aucoin (Robert), Gail Lobue, and Christa Lobue (Phil Davidson); brother â Errol Joseph Terrio; grandchildren - Brittany Sisemore Dillon (William), and Dr. Shelley Sisemore Varnado (Riley); great-grandchildren - Blakely Grace Dillon, and soon-to-arrive, Theodore James Varnado.
The family of Patricia wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, therapists, caregivers, and special friends for the loving care she received.

Visitation will be from 9:00 â 11:00 am on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at St. Albertâs Catholic Church in Hammond, LA. Â A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am at St. Albertâs with the Father Mike OâRourke officiating. Â Burial will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond.
