Pat A. Cleveland

Pat A. Cleveland, of Independence, Louisiana, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the age of 90. She was born on February 29, 1928, in Independence, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Henry Toney and the late Opal Bennett Toney. Pat worked as a payroll accountant at Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center in Independence for over 20 years.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Judy Cleveland Spring and husband Raymond, and Janice Cleveland Rick; grandchildren, Regina Duncan, Terry Newberry and husband Joel, and Miranda Henson; great-grandchildren, Mary Ellzey, Lacey Duncan, Denver Morris, Sebastian Morris, Joseph Coker, and Lauren Coker; sisters, Beulah Hoover and husband Leo, and Joyce Easley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Cleveland; grandson, Danny Ellzey; brother, John Toney; and sister, Helen Basso.

Friends and relatives will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 11:00 am until the service begins at 12:00 pm.

Entombment will follow at Colonial Cemetery in Independence, Louisiana.
