Parnell "Bud" Enette Latham Sr. passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020, at the age of 95. Â He was born on September 29, 1924 in Church Hill, MS to the late Minnie Breithaupt and Walter Fredrick Latham. He was a resident of Madisonville, Louisiana. He was the founder of Bud's Boat Rental and Shipyard Services Inc. that operated from 1956 to 2000.
Parnell "Bud" is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 35 years, Paulette Latham; his loving children, Jerome Bushhousen (June), LeRoy, Joyce (Larry), Parnell, Minnie, and Katherine (Austin); many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; beloved sister in law, Claudette "Biggie" Landry; loving cousin, Charlene May; cherished nephew, Walter "Walnut" Latham; treasured niece, Alexander Landry; several other nieces and nephews; and his dear friends, Pert and Betty.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Fredrick Latham; mother, Minnie Breithaupt Latham; brothers, Fredrick, Maxwell, and Glyn; sister, Consuello "Connie" Latham; son, Walter; and four grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. Hammond, LA 70401 on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Tammany Hospice especially his home health nurse, Debra, as well as, Jeanne, Stephanie, and Paula, his hospice nurses. Â
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Tammany Hospice.
