Oscar Howard Prine

Oscar Howard Prine, of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the age of 82. He was born on January 6, 1940, in Independence, Louisiana. Oscar an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. Oscar loved his family, his brothers and sisters in Christ, and his beloved dog, Baby Girl.

Oscar is survived by his children, Sherry J. Prine, Roy Prine, Jane Martin (Woody), and Joshua Prine (Britany); grandchildren, Chad Prine, Branson Prine, Cheyenne Prine, Cody Prine, Dustin Prine, Latasha Duplessis (Clinton), Jedekiah Brewer, Nadia Brewer, Neveah Brewer, and Nova Brewer; and great grandchildren, Brayden, Madison, McKenzie, and Jaxson Duplessis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Lila Johnson Prine, wife, Carol Virginia Rushing Prine, and numerous siblings.

A Memorial Service will take place at Lighthouse Church, 6471 Hwy 953 Jackson, Louisiana 70748 on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 1pm to 4pm.
