Ollie Anthony Carruth

Ollie Anthony Carruth, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the age of 79. She was born on October 14, 1941, in Independence, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Millard Anthony and Mandy Barber Anthony.

Ollie is survived by her grandchildren, Fred Joseph Foster, Jr. (Carla), Jason Nettles Foster (Letitia), Justin Michael Foster (Lesli), and Freda Felicia Foster; great grandchildren, Joseph C. Foster, Merissa A. Foster, Jade E. Foster, Rebecca L. Foster, Kylee J. Foster, Jenna N.O. Foster, Gabriell N. Foster, Zachary N. Foster, Eli J.M. Foster, Micha J. Foster, Cayden M. Sullivan, Rowan J.M. Foster, and Remilynn E. Foster; and son-in-law, Fred J. Foster, Sr.

In addition to her parents, Ollie was preceded in death by her first husband, Zachary Nettle Carruth; second husband, James Clifton Dennis; daughter, Elizabeth Ollie "Lover" Carruth Foster; and 26 brothers and sisters.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Louisiana 70401 on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana.
