Norwood Bradley Durant

Norwood Bradley Durant of Tickfaw, Louisiana went to his heavenly home on October 25, 2023, at the age of 75.
Bradley is survived by daughters, Shannon Vicaro and Tiffany Giluso (Louis); son-in-law, Joey Vicaro; grandchildren, Hannah, Hudson, and Destiny; great-grandson, Waylon; siblings, Brenda Mixon, Patsy Palmer, Paulette Toves, Alan Durant, and Jeanne Bowman; and many loving nephews and nieces. 
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Christine Durant; brother, Samuel “Dickie” Durant; sisters, Shirley Durant, Nancy Durant, and Peggy Calder. 
Bradley was born on February 14, 1948, at home in Hammond, Louisiana to Edwin and Christine Durant. Bradley and former spouse Gail Addison had two daughters together whom they loved deeply.  He was proud of his daughters and their families and would share stories of his grandchildren often.  Bradley was a merchant marine and a skilled welder.  He loved sports and enjoyed animated conversations about boxing, various sports teams, and sports stats.
His family remembers him as a passionate man who was outspoken and unashamed of his convictions. 
Bradley was a man of God and loved discussing many passages in the word of God freely.  He will be deeply missed.  We find peace and comfort in the fact that Bradley now rests in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ or as he put it “The Great God Almighty.”
Family and friends are invited to attend Bradley’s Celebration of Life Service on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Jerusalem Baptist Church at 11109 Jerusalem Baptist Church Rd, Hammond, LA, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m.
