Nancy Faye "Nan" Tilton Landry

Nancy Faye ‘Nan’ Tilton Landry, 90, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Hammond, passed away peacefully at home early on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 surrounded by family. She was born on November 19, 1930 in Baton Rouge. She graduated from Baton Rouge High School and attended Louisiana State University where she joined Delta Zeta sorority. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church in Hammond where she served as a deacon. She was a member in the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution and several clubs and organizations. She served as secretary of the Presbyterian and Episcopal churches, as well as the Hammond Chamber of Commerce and Tilton Law Firm. She was a marvelous hostess. She loved cooking for her family and was happiest when they were all together.  She was a wonderful and loving mother, devoted to her husband and three children, and taught her children the importance of duty and loyalty.  She loved to laugh.

She is survived by her daughters, Marsha Landry Green and Charlotte Landry Kleinpeter (Francis Michael Kleinpeter, Jr); four grandchildren, Jay Green, Marsha Goodrich (Shaun), and Mary Caitlin and Michael Kleinpeter; three great-grandchildren, Mason, Connor, and Graham Goodrich; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by husband Charles Edward Landry, her father Joshua Atwood Tilton, III, her mother Donna Mackey Tilton, brother Joshua Atwood Tilton IV, and son Ronnie Atwood Landry.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her name.
