Myrtle Payne Alexander

Myrtle Payne Alexander  passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018, in Tickfaw, Louisiana, at the age of 91.  She was born on Sunday, February 13, 1927 in Pricedale, Mississippi. She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.

Myrtle is survived by her husband, Daniel Alexander; daughter, Evie Jeannine Cunningham; son Marty Alexander and his wife Rachel; brothers, Roy Powell, and R.V. Powell and his wife Betty; grandchildren, Hollie Koehn and her husband Etaun, Hunter Cunningham and Savannah Betts; great-grandchildren, Briannalyn and Brayson Koehn and Braelynn and Avereigh Cunningham.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Monroe Payne; parents, Evie and Emma Powell; sisters, Virginia Prather and Mary Bravata; and brothers, Troy and Charles Powell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, La. 70401, on Thursday, May, 17, 2018, from 8:30 am until the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm.  

Interment will follow in Little River United Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
